the vibrations of the sounds of your voice

move through me like water spilled on glass

Chill ice bringing calm to my fire pit body

I know your heart lays heavy on your chest

I know your thoughts eat up half of what

comes out

I know that theres fear when it reaches me

Will I break it?

Will I eat it up to shreds and show you another

reason not to love?
