Back to the basics
Writing positive affirmations and repeating them back to yourself is so strange at first, especially when it's words you really don't think are true. But science tells us we choose what we want to believe, and throughout our daily lives the brain will look for confirmation of that belief.
I used to believe "I am weak" so constantly throughout life, I would find moments that would confirm this to me. Imagine telling yourself everyday "I am strong" and then finding moments that confirm that. And eventually, believing it. The brain is elastic and is so cool for that. It's malleable.
The best part is that you have control over it! It does not control you! It's like a remote control. You press the buttons you'd like to press - with consciousness. With out consciousness or being mindful - the remotes gonna do whatever it wants and play the same movie (ideas, thoughts, emotions) it's had since the beginning of time. I no longer wanna gate keep the cheesy things I do to hold so much positive good energy, if I really wanna help humanity as a whole - it's gotta start somewhere!
I hope this inspires maybe even just a few of you to take a minute out of your day to write 1. All the things you're manifesting to become then repeating it back to yourself, verbally or in your head, verbally will be more effective, using "I am" word affirmations & 2. A list of things vou are grateful for. I promise your remote control will spark with energy and light <3
